HOW TO INCLUDE LEGAL AID OF SONOMA COUNTY IN YOUR ESTATE PLANS

Grandmother with Grand-daughter

Legal Aid's mission is to keep women and children SAFE and keep families in their HOMES. We take every dollar you invest in us and double its value to our clients by using over 7,000 volunteer hours to provide our services.

If you would like to support Safety and Shelter in Sonoma County, you can support our mission in your Estate Planning. Here are a few simple ways to remember us:

• WILLS and TRUSTS

You can easily include us in your will, living trust or family trust.

The wording can be as simple as: "I give, devise and bequeath to Legal Aid of Sonoma County, Tax ID#_______________, located at 1105 North Dutton, Suite B, Santa Rosa, Ca., 95401, (the sum of $___________) or (percentage of your residuary estate) for the benefit of its general purposes (or specify our Safe, Home or Child Abuse Prevention Project)."

This is merely suggested wording. Please consult your attorney or estate planning professional when preparing legal documents.

• INSURANCE, PENSION PLAN, IRA

You can have Legal Aid of Sonoma County designated as beneficiary, contingent beneficiary or co-beneficiary.
