Volunteer Recognition – Carole Campbell

LASC couldn’t do what we do without the help of diligent and dedicated volunteers. Because of our volunteers, LASC can take every dollar contributed and double the services provided to our clients.  Carole Campbell, LA’s longest standing volunteer, will receive a 2013 Blue Ribbon Award from the California Parenting Institute.  This award is given to those in the community who have shown a commitment and dedication to the prevention of child abuse. Making a Difference

Ashley

Why does LASC do what we do? Because we know that our services, provided at a critical point in a child’s or a parent’s life, make a difference.   Some days, it is the difference between someone living or dying.  Other days, the difference between surviving and thriving.

In 2012 we made a difference in the lives of over 2,000 adults and 1,500 children; Protecting them from abusive family situations; ensuring safe and adequate housing.
